Aquatic blue. The look of the stage inhibits your breath as if you’re swooning 8 feet down from the sea.
A respite for the students indeed! PSME-MITSU takes its first participation last August 4, 2016 for the "Teknorampa" hosted by the Council of Organizations!
Teknorampa is an annual pageant held in Mapúa Institute of Technology every first quarter of the academic year. This event aims to showcase the creativity of the students by designing costumes using recyclable materials that embody the theme given.

Environmental Awareness. Council of Organizations takes on the aquatic life’s condition.
The theme for this year’s is “Mundus Aqua: The Quintessence of Water” which focuses on the environmental awareness with the Aquatic Life as its hub. As delegated by the Council of Organizations, two organizations must pair up and present their desired “sea creature”.

Je ne sais quoi. Unhampered charisma cannot not be felt with the fourth year Mechanical Engineering Student Gabriel Balao-as & his stunning partner Alenna Dawn Magpantay, a third year Electrical Engineering student.
PSME-MITSU has chosen Mr. Gabriel Balao-as as their representative, and has partnered up with Honor Society of Mapúa’s Alenna Dawn Magpantay! The two organizations have designated to represent an exotic sea creature, the “dragonet” fish.

Exotic & striking. Its eye-catching appearance would tell you it is not a fish you see often!

Creative & indigenous. Materials such as straw, car carpet rubber sheet, spoons, umbrella, paper plates, fish net, shells and synthetic pearls were used as the main embodiment to their candidate's second and third ramp get-up.
The said pageant was composed of 3 ramps. The first being their shot on introducing themselves. The second ramp, “Marine Pollution”, aims to “expose the effects of marine debris to the aquatic wildlife such as the impairment of form and growth.” And finally, the third ramp, “Masterpiece: The Beauty of Marine Life”, which focuses on its entitlement.
Certainly, PSME-MITSU has taken another step on being an organization that does not help on reaching the students their full potential alone, but also delights their excitement outside the four walls of the classroom!
