Last 6th of November 2016, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - Mapua Student Unit opene

A league as old as the School of MME can remember, this year’s event was no different. The hype, the rush and the sweat of each and every player filling the gym in anticipation of each of their team’s games. The event was held in the Manila Bulletin Gymnasium in Intramuros and was led by Sports Head and Commissioner, Arvin Jedd Arales.

The program had started with the parade of teams where each and every team had walked around Manila Bulletin walking in their jerseys and their hearts on their sleeves.

The players then participated in saying the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Inter MME Champion and former commissioner, Roi Vincent Chen.

With the crowd already anxious for the games to start, they had to hold on a wee bit more as next was the parade of muses. Muses from different teams filled the stage, some of the more notable being Ms. NCAA representative, Ciacia Mendoza and Ms. Cardinal 2016, Khasey del Rosario. As the muses strutted their stuff, Ms. MME 2015, Martina Pilar, started to pick her vote to win the award: “Best Muse”. Khasey del Rosario emerged winner of the competition and after all photo opportunities, the real competition was set to start.

The competition was kicked off by the first game where Combustion was set to face off against defending champion, Throttle. After which, we had games Elements vs. Screwdrivers, ICE vs. Chassis and Mechanical Bulls vs. Horsepower.
